Tidestone IP Integrated Network Management System
Introduction
      Tidestone IP Integrated Network Management System---deployed by Tidestone Software (Shanghai) Ltd., Corp, is a new multi-dimensional, multi-subjected, multi-technical and multi-hierarchy software. The system refers to the integrated maintenance standards of telecom operators and unites Tidestoneˇs abundant experience in telecom network management. The self-developed software is also a end-to-end IP integrated network management solution which faces network, businesses and operations.
      Nowadays, the competition among the telecom operators becomes more vigorous. It is the key point to remain invincible that to assure the service and contentment degree. The kernel is integrated central maintenance. TS-IP-INMS assures the stable running in support of all-subject integrated monitor and maintenance. It enhances the net resource utilization ratio, net assurance capability and low-cost operation capability.?TS-IP-INMS is based on the telecom concept of integrated maintenance and management, combines the service and network management, screens the net heterogeneity of multi-vendors, multi-network and multi-service, and enhances the service quality and operation efficiency. The system lays firm foundation to telecom operatorsˇ competence.
System architecture
      TS-IP-INMS collects and displays net resource, alarms and performance. It includes kernel layer, congregation layer, access layer, MPLS VPN, broad band access and host management. The system colligates the different data from resource management system, electrical form system and customer order system. It also analyzes and displays the resources from each nodes, ports and circuits as well as SLA. TS-IP-INMS shows the digit telecom and data circuit router in graphs including all the ports and nodes of DDN, ODF/DDF. The system can automatically generate and dispatch fault report, and provide analysis about net performance and fault statistics.
      TS-IP-INMS provides not only the alarm management of IP net and the host, but also resource management, net performance management, client service management and customer network management. Therefore, TS-IP-INMS is a complete set of net service management solutions which faces network, service and customers.

      The architecture of TS-IP-INMS is based on the hierarchical designing theory by ITU-TMN and the functional modularization structure by TeleManagement Forum (eTOM). It achieves the functions of network management and operation management like TMN or eTOM. The system provides the end-to-end solutions in heterogeneous networks and establishes a synthesized management flat on the multi-domain IP telecom net composed of IP multi-level net and the host. It offers effective support to telecom operators for improving service quality.
      The application module of TS-IP-INMS consists of operations management sub-system, network management sub-system and the interface communication gateway module, which is used to communicate with the elements management system (EMS). These application modules integrate operation layers, net layers and element management layers seamlessly, and provide central operation and network management based on the uniform user interface. They also provide detailed telecom service management solutions such as network monitor, service opening, service inspection and service guarantee to the telecom operators.

TS-IP-INMS provides the following functions:
  • ? It offers central collection, distribution and display of integrated alarms on the uniform network management system flat; namely, it displays a lot of professional alarms such as exchange, transmission, data, power, PHS and access net on that flat.

Fault management

Performance management
